EMT Paramedic Program Description
Paramedics are trained to provide advance life support in medical and trauma related emergencies.
This Paramedic program is offered as a Certificate Program or towards an AS Degree in EMS. The program is intended for the student who wishes to complete the core curriculum and be eligible for certification by the State of Florida to practice as a Paramedic.
Course content includes lecture, skills lab, and hospital/fire rescue rotations as outlined in the core requirments of the Emergency Medical Services A.S Degree Program. (More Information!)

EMT Paramedic Admission
Registration is considered complete only when the following requirements have been met and the date of such has been indicated on the application. Student handbook and objectives will be given to the student at that time. In order to register the student must:
- Present a valid Florida State EMT Certification (get certified with us!)
- Present a current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) AHA card
- be 18 years of age
- have a physical/ health clearance from a physician
(Health Forms provided) - proof of health insurance
- valid drivers license or photo ID
- submit payment of first semesters tuition ($1850.00)
